|Thanks to the Air Commando Association [Foundation] for their passionate and compassionate care of our force. Once again, when a need for benevolence was identified they quickly answered the call. For all the gracious organizations out there that care for our wounded, ill, and in need teammates, the ACA [Foundation] is by far the most responsive and has the greatest latitude to give. Hats off to Maj Gen-retired Secord and Col-retired Barnett. What you’ve done with ACA is remarkable...and very much appreciated by AFSOC leadership and our great force of Air Commandos! HOOYAH, ACA!!|

|The best organization I've had the pleasure to be a part of...period. Example: We had a severely injured EOD tech that was in the hospital for an extremely long period of time. His wife was 7 months pregnant and the ACA offered to pay for 8 EOD spouses to fly out for a baby shower at the hospital. This organization recognizes and celebrates the true warrior spirit by adding comfort and normalcy for air commandos and their families...in times of tragedy and in times of fortune.|

Dear Air Commandos,
The Air Commando Association helped my family in assisting in our final PCS. As a family of the fallen, I was flying across the country alone with my two little ones, ages four and one and a half; the ACA assisted by getting my sister a plane ticket to fly with us. It was a major help to have my sister on our travels as two little kids and one adult is not an easy task! Our family appreciated the kindness and willingness of the ACA to support us in an unusual request, and I was personally very grateful to have assistance with the boys. Thank you to the Air Commando Associate for their support to my family, and all the families that they support of wounded or KIA veterans.
--Sincerely, Krista Harvell
"Over the past year, I have been battling thyroid cancer. I was medevac'd to Tripler Army Medical Center for surgery and radiation treatments in September of 2012. I ended up paying for a few of my relatives to fly to Hawaii to be with me during this trying ordeal. When I returned back to Okinawa from Hawaii, I found a check in the mail for $500 from the Air Commando's Association. The money helped me pay for my relatives travel and lodging. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support. Since then, I have become a lifetime ACA member (Kadena Chapter #L4592). I'm still battling cancer, but I feel at peace knowing that the ACA continues to support active duty members and their families throughout life struggles. Thank you and God bless you for what you do!"
